To be honest, I was a bit skeptical about these knickers. I cannot really say why perhaps bc I have never worn such an item while riding. On the hanger, they looked too narrow in the hips for me, as a fat bottom girl, I require extra room for movement. Boy was I wrong, these knickers have a great stretch fabric with a wide hip band that sits perfectly on the hips. They don’t ride up when ya move on the bike, the wide band helps them stay put. The material is forgiving and moves perfectly while riding. I am 5’2” and longer is sometimes tricky, however, I did take this knickers on a mountain bike ride where the terrain was woody, with lots of opportunities for scratches and scrapes. These knickers performed very well. These knickers went from the trail to the restaurant with style and comfort. I strongly recommend these knickers, and I will be getting more.
